Isn't spring here yet?

I realize most of you feel February 19 is too early to be wishing for spring, but I'm looking out my office window and seeing yet another fresh dumping of snow...and I'm ready for temperatures to jump 40 degrees or so :) Of course, I've never been the biggest fan of winter to begin with...so I'm slightly biased...and whatever tolerance I had for the white stuff probably vanished during the great Christmas musical blizzard of 2007. :)

Anyway, moving on to other random thoughts from my life:

Basketball season has finally concluded. This brings a mixed set of emotions, but also a much more relaxed schedule for the Cary family, so that part is definitely nice.

I did not have to serve on a jury.

Purdue is in first place in the Big Ten...this makes watching basketball games much more enjoyable lately!

I'm excited for the worship choir's upcoming concert at Grand Court...and I really need to figure out what we're going to sing :)

I've never popped a string on a piano before...at least not until Sunday!

I'm reading through Proverbs in my Bible right now...one of my books on counseling talked over and over about how practical, useful, and important Proverbs can be in many areas of life, so I decided it was time for me to revisit it.
