So this is what it means to be a homeowner?
Hi from the worship pastor's office! Since last I posted, Molly and I have officially become homeowners, and now we're well underway with the millions of little and big projects that seem to be involved with that! As most of you know, I'm Scott Stephens told me Sunday that we should have a "painting party" at the new place...because, according to him, "it's just no fun to paint by yourself". What do you think? We'll provide the food, and the whole church can come and grab the rollers and brushes?! Sounds like a plan to me - I'll have to keep that in mind :)
Our basketball season is almost over...we're getting ready for our postseason tournament now. It will be nice to have a few extra hours in each day (but I'm sure we'll be able to fill them at the house!)
On the music front, I'm excited about our Spring Celebration concert coming up on April 5 with the Ball Brothers. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their music when they visited Cornerstone a couple years ago, and now all four brothers sing, so it's not just a trio anymore! The choir will be working hard over the next month and a half to prepare for their part in this special concert...I hope you'll be able to come!
Have a wonderful week - thanks for reading!
Tim
